This material is glossy on the top and matte finish on the bottom, as seen in the last photo. It does let some light through but you cant see through the material clearly.

These mirror visors are made in house here in Portland OR. They are CNC laser cut from 3mm thick acrylic(plastic) sheet.

They are available in 2 fitment options: Ganador & Flat/DIY both of which start with the shame shape.

The Ganador visors are thermoformed(fancy word for shaped with heat) in house (in our case with a modified oven) and then shaped in a mold. These are designed to fit Ganador brand mirrors.

Alternatively you can get them in Flat/DIY fitment, which is the same as the Ganador but flat allowing you to install it this way or heat it and shape it yourself to fit your application.

Lastly 3M VHB is included to apply these to your mirrors. In the case of the Ganadors the tape is already applied to the visors themselves. In the DIY visor kits the strips are included separately so you can heat and shape your visor before applying the tape.

FAQ:

“I think the Flat/DIY visors are for me. How do I go about reshaping them?”

We recommend a heat gun be used to heat the visors. It will take roughly 1-4 minutes depending on your setup to get the visor to the appropriate heat. You want to bend the visor easily. If you feel like you are forcing the plastic it is not hot enough and you are risking breaking it.

What is a “Ganador”??

“Ganador” is an aftermarket company that made a now discontinued mirror that fit on many 90s chassis.

Will these fit my (insert chassis) OEM mirrors?

In some cases yes! Nissan S14/15, Honda EG/EK, DC4-5 are some examples where the visors fit up without any fuss!

FC & FD RX7, C5 Corvette, S13 and R32, SXE10 are examples where the Ganador visors get very close but not perfect for some reason or another. The S13/R32 for instance is VERY tight and requires a lot of modification.

FRS/BRZ/GT86??

If you swap the sides the fitment is surprisingly decent! Remember this is still not there intended use. You may want to heat and reshape them a bit.
